In the turmoil of our lives and the chaos of our thoughts, we sometimes lose sight of what truly matters. How can we find rest? We don’t need a grand revelation, but simply a reminder of our relationship with Jesus.

Where’s the line? How spiritually mature does someone need to be before you date them? What should a Christian compromise on and what should they require?

The woman is discouraged. The man she is dating seems to put his best friend before her. However, the man says he is really in love with her. Should she give him an ultimatum: “Me or your friend?”

If the distractions of this world or the worries of the present time have diverted us a little from God, and if our love for Him is no longer as passionate, the solution is simple. All we have to do is invite Jesus to dinner!

Who said the Christian life would be easy? Certainly not the first disciples! Not only will our service to God take a great deal of effort, as will defending our faith, but our spiritual growth as well.
