We are sometimes irritated by the delay God takes in answering our prayers. But have we considered that sometimes, we are the ones making Him wait when He calls us? Sacrificial love also means responding to God without further delay.

In many dictionaries, “waiting” and “being patient” are often considered similar. The difference is indeed subtle, but it’s worth paying attention to.

We have been waiting for the answer to our prayer for a very long time. Has God forgotten us? Why is He not acting? Frustration can build quickly. What if God was working…out of our field of vision?

We have steps to take to move forward towards God’s promises. But sometimes our answers don’t come when we want (like marriage!), and we may be tempted to take matters into our own hands. It’s not easy to wait!

Opportunities sometimes arise in unexpected circumstances. To notice them and not miss them, you have to be very attentive. This principle applies to our search for a partner, but also to our relationship with God.
