“Bah! I don’t believe in love… ” Some people have been so hurt by a past relationship that they no longer dare to dream of a beautiful romance. Yet God can free us from our past and allow us to hope again.
We feel our hearts beat faster, we blush with wonder, seeing them for the first time. “I’m in love!” Really? Is it love or is it more lust?
Jesus would not have asked us to love our enemies if it was natural. And while we may not see our “exes” as “enemies,” sometimes we have a hard time accepting God blessing them. An attitude to correct!
At a time when some Christians are turning against each other for political reasons, why not go back to the basics of Jesus’ message? Let’s relearn how to love one another as He has shown us.
