We would like to be as spiritual as a certain man of God, or as wealthy as another prominent figure. But even if we make a lot of effort to try to emulate their success, the Bible says that our environment has the final say.

It is much easier to tell people what to do than to set an example for them. Yet our actions are much more convincing than our words. There are even personal advantages to being an example to emulate.

We often envy the successes of others and try to emulate what they did to achieve the same results. It’s not bad, but let’s remember that God has made us all unique and so we all have our own story to write.
