_Last week_, we were encouraged by the story of Elijah. He felt alone in his faith and sometimes being single we feel the same way. But there is another valuable lesson we can learn from this passage.

We’ve looked for someone for a long time (too long some may think!) and still nobody. It almost feels like we are alone in the world with our standard. A prophet in the Bible felt the same way; his story can encourage us all.

God loves all His children, but singles have a special place in His heart. If their prayer to get married has not been answered, it is not because God does not hear them. Singles have privileged access to the throne of God!

Jesus was tempted in the wilderness before He entered His calling. Here are the three temptations that He overcame brilliantly. Singles face temptations as well, and here are the three biggest ones singles have to face.
