We are truly privileged to be children of God. When we make Him our source, we can live in His rest and offer that rest to those around us.

These are some of Jesus’ last words. Single people can sometimes feel that God has forgotten us. Yet, despite His questioning, Jesus’ attachment to His Father did not change. A beautiful lesson for us today.

Shame can feel like a suffocating weight, convincing us that we are flawed, worthless, or beyond redemption. Yet, the Bible speaks directly to our experience of shame, not only naming it but also offering us a pathway to healing through the Gospel.

In many dictionaries, “waiting” and “being patient” are often considered similar. The difference is indeed subtle, but it’s worth paying attention to.
