We all love to receive compliments or encouragement. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course! However, we need to be vigilant when we start to seek out only these flattering words.

Most Christians know they won’t have seven years of misfortune breaking a mirror, walking under a ladder, or petting a black cat. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t superstitious. For without love, our faith can become superstition.

Sometimes we must put on the full armor of God and fight the good fight of faith. But we must never forget that at other times, we must leave the battlefield and return to the fortress.

I recently read a quote that I really agree with : “In relationships, the little things are the big things.” I think there is some relevancy too when it comes to starting a relationship. Sometimes, the little things are actually the big things.
