No. Even though it’s often promised to single Christians that they’ll find the special person God has prepared just for them, the concept of a soulmate isn’t biblical. And that’s good news!

At the last Club-Passion374 meeting in Montreal, participants were asked to weigh in on the question: Is being single compatible with happiness? Their answers were so insightful that we had to share them.

The entire Bible was written for Christian singles, but some gems in the Psalms are truly encouraging for those living alone.

This was one of the first things God said to Adam and Eve: Have dominion! Yet, many Christians are only trying to survive their daily lives. Where has our heritage gone? It is not beyond our reach, thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus.

A ladies’ brunch… A guy’s night out… It’s true that sometimes it’s more comfortable to participate in activities that bring together people of the same gender. But we also need to step out of our comfort zone because a mixed circle of friends is very enriching.
