Being single is not a problem to be solved; it’s not a disease. If it was, Jesus would have been a very sick man! It is simply an indeterminate amount of time during which a single Christian has the opportunity to serve God without limits.

If your faith is really important to you, you need to marry someone that not only claims the title of “Christian”, but really demonstrates their commitment to Christ. Where could you find such a person? Surprisingly, they may be outside of your local church!

Many single Christians say “I can’t wait to receive the husband (or wife) God has for me”. Others will encourage singles by saying: “He (she) is coming, God is preparing you a good one.” These are nice words, that look very spiritual, but aren’t they completely selfish?

What does “forgiving” mean? How do we know if we have really forgiven someone? Some say to forgive is to forget the offense against us. But is this really the case?

This week, I want to honor my best friend, whom I affectionately nicknamed “Cupcake”. She just got engaged and learned a great lesson in the process of finding her sweetheart, one that many singles should follow.
