You gave your life to Jesus a few years ago, and you are confident in your faith now. What’s the next step? Getting married to a good Christian partner? No. Your lifetime goal has nothing to do with your social status.

“Why am I single?” This is a question many Christians ask and we tried to answered it during our annual conference on September 25th. We translated it and you can now see the full version of this conference in English.

We often say that Jesus is our friend, and when we do, we look to Him to fill our loneliness, to listen to us and support us in our projects. But we rarely think that this friendship was meant to be reciprocal.

Let’s put our singleness aside for a few minutes. Let’s forget our social status, and concentrate on what really matters: our love for God. It’s okay to think about getting married. There is nothing wrong with daydreaming about a future wedding. Some singles refuse to talk about it because they do not want to be seen as someone who complains about their current status. Just because you talk about it doesn’t mean you are unhappy.

It’s been few weeks that I have had in my heart to write on this very personal subject. I’ll share my testimony with you and what I’ve learned on this subject. I hope this will be useful for someone.
