A piece of advice that we often hear is: don’t pretend to be someone we are not. And it is true. However, this advice should not be used as an excuse not to improve.

Be yourself! Really?

To repent is to free yourself
We love to sing to God, raise our needs to Him, and cry in His arms. But we are much less excited to repent. Maybe it is because we have forgotten the benefits of repentance.

Do not be afraid
We live in uncertain times and even distressing for some. And even though we are Christians, this atmosphere of fear can seep into our souls and affect different parts of our hearts. But God has a perfect antidote!

Help!
Doctors don’t come ringing our doorbell to treat us. We have to go to them if we are not feeling well. The same goes for all of our challenges. We cannot hope for help if we do not ask for it.

Praise God for the closed doors.
We plan our projects and lift it all in prayer, confident that we have God’s blessing. But in front of closed doors, we doubt or are confused. We forget that sometimes closed doors are a great blessing!
