Some single people are so concerned with finding a partner that they get distracted during teachings in church. They hear what their pastors teach, but they don’t listen, which is unfortunate because the fruits of the Spirit are directly related to the way we listen.

How do you listen?

Ever think you aren't the right one for the job?
God wants to use us for His glory, but what He asks us to do isn’t always easy. At least, not easy for us. In our opinion, another person would be in a much better position to accomplish the task. So why us?

The older we get, the harder it is to surrender to love
Falling in love and building a new life with them exciting, but it’s also a big risk to take. What if they lied about who they really are? Am I willing to give them the keys to my condo? All sorts of questions can hinder a relationship. This fear of risk is natural and scientifically proven, but it can be reversed spiritually.

You are not of this world, don’t forget it!
Stop whatever you are doing. Forget land claims for a moment, put aside concerns. Now, take the time to remind yourself that you are not of this world! That life on Earth is very temporary and doesn’t deserve to be plagued by stress.

Tick tock, the biological clock is ringing!
Years have gone by and you’re still single. You thought that at this age you would already be married with one, two or three children. But no. The wedding can wait, but the idea of having children seems to have an expiration date. When the biological clock starts ringing, what do you do as a Christian?
