It’s the holidays! Twinkling lights, tasty aromas from the oven and happy gatherings. But when you say family, you also face THE most irritating question: “Why are you still single?”.

You have gone through the process of changing the way you think, and you see your armor starting to fall off. I hope you are enjoying your new sense of freedom. Now, what do we do the day we wake up on the wrong side of the bed and everything goes wrong?

I was talking in the previous post about getting rid of your armor. “But you never actually said how to do it!” I know, the first step is to make the decision, to want to get rid of your armor. Then, we can start the second step: removing it.

When people ask us for help in finding someone special, one of the first questions we ask them is: Why do you think you are still single? This post is going to address the answer of “I keep people out”.

It’s not easy to find someone. We must face all kinds of fears: fear of choosing the wrong partner, fear of being rejected, fear of intimacy and the fear of commitment. Unfortunately, some Christians use “God” to hide these fears.
