We must be careful when we try to follow the precepts that we hear in church. If we follow them without discussing them with the Holy Spirit, we risk falling into a position that is far too rigid.

Sometimes we try to hide a sin by good actions, or we justify our misconduct by spiritualizing it. But that does not please God because He always prefers obedience.

We are tempted on all sides. Our flesh wants to be comfortable and satisfied. So how do we stay on the right path when our desires want us to deviate?

Because looking for a partner is part of the flesh, in the visible world, we often forget that there are also spiritual issues in our search.
