Unless we have received the gift of celibacy, we all have times when singleness weighs a little more on our heart. Then we tend to complain or try to “fix” this situation quickly. But at what cost?

If someone stepped up to you and tried to tie your hands together, you would not let them! But there is another form of bondage that is not visible which we often forget about, and it can bind us just as much.

“Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope” (Psalms 119:49 WEB). We love to remind God of all the promises He makes to us. But what about the promises WE make?

Because we do not have God in front of us, we often forget to ask for His opinion and even His direction. We have our plans, and we are focused on following them. Sometimes this is our biggest mistake.
