Prayer is one of the main bases of Christian living, and in our churches, we speak of the importance of persevering in prayer. Yet sometimes God himself wants us to put an end to some of our prayers.

When a person is not certain of their decision, their friends will often say “just follow your heart”, suggesting that deep down, they know what the right thing to do is. But does God agree with that?

Nowadays, we are encouraged to stand firm for our beliefs, to assert our rights and to claim our due. Yet recognizing our wrongs is a much more rewarding attitude.

We often complain about our current situation. We point out the disadvantages of being single; and married, we can always find reasons to complain! Why not focus on the good parts of the state we are in?
