We often complain about our current situation. We point out the disadvantages of being single; and married, we can always find reasons to complain! Why not focus on the good parts of the state we are in?

When we ask God for something, we often have a firm image of how He should answer us. The danger with this image is that it can prevent us from seeing that God has answered us, but in another way.

We must be careful when we try to follow the precepts that we hear in church. If we follow them without discussing them with the Holy Spirit, we risk falling into a position that is far too rigid.

Does someone single who goes to a Baptist church have the right to date a single from a Pentecostal background? Or any other denomination. Many singles are asking this question and there is no general answer.

Sometimes we try to hide a sin by good actions, or we justify our misconduct by spiritualizing it. But that does not please God because He always prefers obedience.
