Then here are some questions to discuss: We marry for love, but our marriage must also have a purpose. What purpose should a Christian marriage have? Read Joshua 24:15 If we marry only to meet our own needs, to fill a void, our marriage is doomed. Why do you think? Read Ephesians 5:31-33 You should not marry a person hoping that they will change after marriage. Why do you think this is dangerous?

We live in uncertain times and even distressing for some. And even though we are Christians, this atmosphere of fear can seep into our souls and affect different parts of our hearts. But God has a perfect antidote!

Doctors don’t come ringing our doorbell to treat us. We have to go to them if we are not feeling well. The same goes for all of our challenges. We cannot hope for help if we do not ask for it.

We plan our projects and lift it all in prayer, confident that we have God’s blessing. But in front of closed doors, we doubt or are confused. We forget that sometimes closed doors are a great blessing!

In a time when people are confused and worried, the Church must be, more than ever, courageous and focused. And this is a calling for all Christians, not just pastors!
