Sometimes we feel compelled to respond to an offense against us by inflicting the same offense on the person who gave it to us. We want to “make them pay”. This form of resentment only sows poison in our relationships.

We sing beautiful songs to our God, telling Him that we surrender ourselves to Him, that He is our King. But on a daily basis, is He really our God or just one source among many others?

Our Heavenly Father is so generous. When we follow His ways, He leads us into wonderful blessings. But let’s be careful, if we don’t take good care of these beautiful fruits of God, they can rot and poison our lives.

It’s a classic for young people. Still in school, or freshly graduated, many young people will share their first apartment. Yet nothing says that this practical idea is exclusive to young people! It’s a good idea for all ages!
