We’ve all been there. Our fight seems to drag on, and the answer to our prayer does not arrive. Soon it will be too late. What is God doing? Why does He take so long to respond to us?

Then here are some questions to discuss:
Read Matthew 6:12 as well as Matthew 6:14-15 In those passages, Jesus associates the forgiveness of our own sins with the forgiveness we give to others. Do you like that, that Jesus puts the two together? Do you find it easier to receive God’s forgiveness or to give forgiveness to others? Why?
Read Jeremiah 31:34 and Hebrews 8:12. The verses say that God will forget our sins.

Here is an exercise we sometimes do at the end of the year or the beginning. However, taking time for daily introspection is a great habit to get into.

Then here are some questions to discuss:
Go around the table to introduce yourself. Are you single and happy to be like that? (You don’t want to find a partner.) Or are you single and you want to meet a special person to get married?
For those who want to get married, what have you heard most often: that we have to look for a partner or that we have to wait for God to put him in our way?

What has your devotional time been like lately? Do you spend loving times with Jesus or, if you find time to pray, is it out of obligation? Sometimes it’s good to stop and evaluate our hearts.
