God’s favor has nothing to do with His blessings. They are two very different things. When we finally understand what God’s favor is, we experience true comfort, and our trials become easier to bear.

Perhaps you see your celibacy as a time of waiting. But what if it was one of your strengths to transform the world? Don’t underestimate your impact, even when your actions go unnoticed. The Kingdom is built in the shadows as well.

That is a slogan we sometimes hear, especially in Christian circles. When we take the time to reflect on this phrase, we realize that it is indeed a pearl of wisdom to apply in all areas of our lives, especially in the search for a partner.

Stop for a moment and think about it: the season you are in is part of your training. God wants to mold your soul, transform your thoughts, and your character. He wants to teach you a very specific lesson; are you listening?

We have a need, so we ask God for a solution. But sometimes, we are so focused on the solution we asked for that we don’t see the answer God has already given us.
