In our Christian circles, we often hear newly married couples say they have “obtained God’s favor”, because they just got married. This idea certainly comes from Proverbs 18:22. But does this mean that single people do not have God’s favor? If we allow ourselves to consider this idea, we can begin to look for what we should do, or not do, to obtain God’s favor, so that He will finally answer our prayers. And after a while, we begin to feel sad, confused, wondering what we’re doing wrong, or why God doesn’t love us as much as other married Christians. Not only do we feel invisible to potential partners, but we even feel rejected by God. What if we’ve simply misunderstood what God’s favor is?

Let’s take the time to delve into the Scriptures to better understand this topic. Tobias and Caroline P. Mook from Passion374 will share what they’ve discovered on the subject, and then, in small groups, we’ll continue to build each other up in the same direction. The topic is so powerful that we couldn’t do it only once, in just one region of Quebec. Therefore, we’ll be presenting the same workshop in three different regions, on three different dates.
