Passion374 is celebrating its first year! Our first article was published on January 15th, 2015. We want to give all glory to God for this beautiful project, and we would like to thank our readers by presenting the 5 most popular posts of our first year.
My husband Tobias and I, Caroline, helped the Singles in our church for three years. Then we felt the need, and the calling to offer our services to all single Christians. Because no matter which church someone goes to, it’s been proven that 90% of couples are formed outside of a local church. With Passion374, we want to help the single Christians in their search for their life partner, and remind them to never lower their standards.
To celebrate this first year, here are the 5 most popular posts of 2015 :
1 - When will God give me my soulmate?
For a lot of singles, the wait for their beloved turns into frustration against God. We don’t want to admit it, because we are afraid of making Him angry, or because we are afraid to ruin our near perfect journey. But why hasn’t God done it?
2 - Getting married at a young age, or wait to be older?
When we are children turning 30 seems ancient, and girls especially, hope to be married before they hit their thirties. But is there really a perfect age at which to get married?
3 - It is never too late to restart
Even though the girl knew God’s ideas about dating, she didn’t listen. Now that her innocence is gone, why would she try to keep walking in God’s ways? Is it even possible to go back?
Many singles believe that by changing their marital status, they will no longer feel alone. However loneliness can affect married people the same as single people, and this feeling isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
5 - Abstinence before marriage: is it Biblical?
“No sex before marriage” is a principle strongly promoted by all Christian churches. Yet some people point out that there is no verse in the Bible that says we shouldn’t have sex before marriage. Is it right to believe that God reserved sex for marriage?
